Cueora for Chrome

The extension watches for Google Meet, Zoom, Teams and Whereby tabs. Click the floating “Take notes with Cueora” button on the meeting page, confirm Chrome’s one-click “Share this tab” prompt, and your live notes open already recording — the meeting tab captures its own audio and streams it across. Prefer the keyboard? Alt+Shift+C and the toolbar icon start capture with no dialog at all.

One-step permission setup — and a retest button

A guided page walks you through microphone and tab audio, including the “Also share tab audio” toggle Chrome requires you to tick yourself. Later, one click on “Retest permissions” in the popup reruns both checks and highlights the exact step that's still blocked, with a link straight to its fix.

Keyboard control you can rebind

Alt+Shift+C starts, Alt+Shift+P pauses or resumes, Alt+Shift+X stops. Record your own combos in the popup's Shortcuts panel — they sync with your Chrome profile and survive restarts.

Live diagnostics

The popup shows Deepgram connection state, current and average transcript latency, whether mic and meeting audio are live, and any permission errors as they happen.

Smart detection with a fallback

Known call URLs start capture on their own. When a page only looks like a meeting, Cueora asks whether to use tab audio or mic only, instead of guessing. Zoom or Teams desktop calls belong to the Cueora desktop app — Chrome can only hear a tab.

Install

1. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm the permissions prompt.
2. The Cueora setup tab opens itself: grant your microphone, run the meeting-audio check, sign in. Three clicks, once.
3. Join a meeting and click “Take notes with Cueora” on the page. Confirm Chrome’s “Share this tab” prompt — your live notes open pinned, already recording.

Can’t use the Web Store? Install manually

1. Unzip the downloaded file.
2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc.
3. Turn on Developer mode (top-right).
4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
5. The setup tab opens itself, same as the Web Store install.

Manual installs don’t auto-update — you’ll need to repeat this when a new version ships.

Works in any Chromium browser. For meetings held outside the browser (Zoom or Teams desktop apps), use Cueora Desktop instead — it captures system audio with no tab at all.
